Sea Chest is a lovely detached holiday home in the picturesque Devon waterside village of Turnchapel, just 4 miles from Plymouth town centre. Situated right next to the beautiful River Plym there are a host of activities and places of interest within easy reach, from Plymouth's historic Barbican, home of the Mayflower Steps (5 miles away, or ¾ mile and a short ferry ride!), to the sandy beaches of Bovisand (2 miles) and views across Plymouth Sound to Cornwall. Situated close to the South West Coast Path, Sea Chest is an ideal base for both families and walkers.
There is one parking space right outside the front door of the property, although parking can be fairly limited for larger vehicles there is ample free car parking at either end of the village. 
Please note that although coffee, tea and a small welcome pack are provided for your convenience, we do not cater for allergies or food intolerances. All food and toiletries are provided as a courtesy for our guests and each guest should satisfy themselves to a product’s suitability before use.
Breakfast is not provided, however there are several places locally that offer delicious freshly cooked meals. 
If you use any cleaning products in the kitchen and bathrooms, we would strongly suggest that if you have young children staying with you, that you keep these products in the basket provided on the shelf in the kitchen. Children should also be kept away from the kitchen while cooking.
Heating – The central heating boiler is set to come on depending on expected weather conditions but this can be over-ridden as required using the thermostat remote unit fixed to the lounge wall by the stairs. If you should have any problems with setting the temperature, please just let us know and we will be more than happy to pop round and adjust it for you.
The entire property and private enclosed courtyard area is available exclusively for the use of our guests.

We live locally and where possible will try to greet guests personally on arrival to make sure you settle in ok and we are available by email or telephone at any time if guests should have any problems at all during their stay. If for any reason we can’t be available when you arrive we have installed a keysafe box so you will be able to gain access to the property any time of the day or night.
